The Story

Don't Tell Your Father started because of one very specific moment.

Picture it: a Tuesday night. One of us (we'll protect the guilty) had just dropped $399 on an air fryer. Fine. Family needed it. Worth it.

Three days later, another one of us spotted the exact same air fryer on sale for $189. The group chat absolutely lost it.

That night — screaming-into-the-void-at-11pm — we realised something. Aussie mums are out here overpaying for stuff every single day because we don't have time to price-check every purchase, compare four retailers, and read 800 reviews. We do have time. And we love a good deal more than we love most things.

So we started sharing them. First in a group chat. Then with friends. Then... well. Here we are.

Who We Are

We're four Australian mums who are collectively obsessed with finding a bargain. We come from different cities, different walks of life, and different opinions on whether a Thermomix is worth the money (it is, but only on sale).

Between us we have seven kids, two dogs, a cat, and zero patience for overpriced tat. We spend our days scrolling, comparing, and testing so you don't have to.

Every single product on this site has been through our vetting process. We reject about 95% of what we look at. Here's the checklist:
